1. Shui Xian
Chinese White-Bellied Rat

He is regarded as not just a crime lord but also the treasurer which he provides the funding to multiple syndicates.  Although very ruthless, he is very pragmatic and charming yet manipulative and prefers to be “fair” to his minions and heroes in hope that he can gain wealth and power in doing so.  His marking is located on the back of his right hand.  He is skilled in the ability to weaponize water which includes the atmosphere and the content in a living body.  This is done manually instead of hydrokinesis.  Even without a source, he can still hold his own in a fight.

2. Niu-Tou
Banteng (Bull)

He is calm and collected showing little to no emotion as he does his task, mainly given by Shui Xian.  While not stupid, he does not appear to be aware of his dull demeanor such when he was assigned to sing but without changing tone.  Despite his cynical outlook, he seems to display a liking to nature.  His marking is located on the back of his left shoulder.  Like Storming Ox, he is a highly analytical fighter and is able counter even impossible moves.  Another factor is that in spite of being the largest Shangdi, he can make his body go limp and move as if he were blob allowing him to evade many attacks at once.

3. ????
South China Tiger

He is the first Shangdi the heroes has encountered and learned that he is on a completely different level than Tai Lung.  He also has the usual prideful and arrogant personality but happens to be one who seeks a good and challenging fight and is one of the more cheerful and smart aleck type getting along with heroes and villains alike.  His marking is located on his upper left arm.  He is skilled in multiple styles of kung fu and elemental chi manipulation and is considered the most powerful of all his brethren.  His name isn’t known yet but all they know is it mean “great happiness” but has another meaning in the region where he came from that is if they can find it.  It’s revealed he was once a hero who defeated an actual dragon just like Po.

4. Taowu
Himalayan Rabbit

Eccentric and hammy inventor who is known for his fatherly wisdom, but inside he is a cruel being who use anyone as a test subject to his experiment.  He considers himself the successor to Lord Shen as he managed to create fire lances and muskets from the idea of cannon even retaining its flashy appearance.  His marking is located on the back of his head.  He also has artificial wings hidden in his backpack which he uses in combination to his sound blaster ability.  This allows him both offensive and defensive use as well as transporting from place to place even with making as little sound as possible.

5. Lan Ke
Chinese Alligator

She’s like other crocodile bandits albeit she has more common sense and patience to the point that she can assist her dim-witted companions in a way they can understand.  Regardless, she’s still an impulsive kleptomaniac with a malicious streak and is very proud of living up to her position as the dragon which her species are regarded as the dragons’ other descendants beside the snake.  Her marking is located on her tail.  Similar to Croc, she has a very tough hide which combined with an ability she call Lazy Shell, after her name, allows her to reinforce it even further to the point that she can easily shrug off cannon shot.  Nothing can make her move from her spot even in midair as she can also levitate for a short time.

6. Chiyou
Blue Dwarf Sea Snake

Unlike Fu-xi, who is a fallen hero, this Shangdi is a disgrace to his kind as he came from a group obsessed with becoming dragons.  Through mystic power, he is given arms and legs as well as antlers.  The most disrespectful Shangdi, he is only balanced by being the team strategist.  His marking is located on his stomach.  He often resides inside a puppet (created by Taowu) in the form of a demon resembling his namesake.  This way, he can use his skill and lightning power in puppetry to control via string though he can use mind-control on living being even if his target is blind.

7. Tianqi
Przewalski’s Horse

Very Laid-back and has the tendency to speak proverb, half of which are wrong, this carefree Shangdi is not concerned with keeping his priorities in check unless the situation call for it.  Like Superintendent Chang, he is not easily impressed with anything…or so they assumed.  His marking is located on his tongue.  He is a very formidable fighter in any use of weapon in different range.  His hooves give him the ideal use of creating multiple razor wind especially empowered by chi.

8. Xuehua Mengmeng
Hangzhou (Sheep)

Coming from a royal family, she does act of nobility with strict yet kind regulation.  She’s not above getting her hand dirty though and is one who is calculating without looking cold.  Her marking is on her right shin.  While every Shangdi are agile, her speed is one where she can create afterimage and even leave chi in her wake which does damage creating the illusion that the afterimage are landing solid hit.  She also specialized in nerve hit including her signature rapid fire jab which she stated that regardless of precision, the arbitrary disruption make the target convulses to death.  Po, of course, survives this but instead of it tickling, it does hurt.

9. KauTheChian
Black Snub-Nosed Monkey

Just like Wu Kong, he is a mischievous trickster whose sadism makes it clear that his pranks are not as harmless as one expects them to be.  He’s just as carefree as Tuanqi but is basically the wild card of the group not really caring which side he chooses as long as it interests him.  His marking is located on the right side of his chest.  Just as his namesake indicates, he actually wields a staff that can elongate at will, perform transformation, clone weaker version of himself, and…breathe fire.  He is one of the stronger Shangdi who is seen as a rival to the tiger.

10. Kuai
Cochin Rooster

It turns out he’s one of the Furious Five of the previous generation which the heroes believe they could get a lead on in finding out about the organization.  He’s loud yet chivalrous, prompt, and doesn’t like to take drastic action but still follow what the Shangdis want.  His marking is located on his neck.  His abilities are modified variants of the Seven Impossible moves including disabling senses and reflex and performing the one-inch punch.

11. Mulaohu
Chinese Chongqing Dog

Regarded as similar to Tigress (her name even mean Tigress), in which they’re both orphans born with super strength and adopted by kung fu masters who they worked hard in the hope to earn favor.  While Tigress is a perpetual frowner, this Shangdi is a perpetual smiler even retaining her serenity as she brutalizes her opponents.  She often serves her master Tianqi to the point of fierce loyalty.  Her marking is located on the paw of her left foot.  She possesses tremendously high strength to the point that she can easily lift her signature weapon, a jian twice as tall as she is and having a weight at the end.  She also uses a form of tactile telekinesis making any heavy object she touches light but still retaining its physical properties.  Even the ground underneath her does not break which fool anyone into thinking her double weapon is a fake.

12. Kaiguang
Fengjing Pig

He is tasked as the one who perform rituals required to awaken mystical artifacts and open paths.  Very polite but completely neutral, he just goes along with the event just to acknowledge how things would work out.  His marking is located on his lower right arm.  A chi wizard who is also a skilled kung fu master he combine both magic and techniques to incapacitate his foes.  He often use the power of the earth and wood to create blockage.

13. ????
(Cat)

Considering the organization is based on a Chinese Zodiac, the protagonists thought there are only twelve members.  They did not realize of the lost number thirteen considering this member is a runner-up to the group.  Little is known about this Shangdi, other than this one is a feline species and has a great dislike for Shui Xian.  It turn out this Shangdi was assigned to be the spy on the heroes and realized it is someone they know.  The reveal is shocking.
The Taiyin Shangdi (Lunar Celestial Emperor) is a band of kung fu fighters with a mysterious origin that perplex even the protagonists and anyone who came across them. As a fandom not canon to the story but taking place after the event of KFP 2, they serve as the turning point in the series. This includes more drama, peril, and even death of a major character or worse more.

All of the Shangdi appeared to be blessed with innate power that gives them contractual boss immunity to incapacitation such as the memory-erasing Finger Fluttering Mindslip and one-hit defeat such as the Wuxi Finger Hold. They can also bypass mystic power such as seeing through illusion and being able to inflict damage to demon who would be immune to such. Each of them is specialized in at least one ability that anyone can copy but take years to master. They also possess a marking in the form of a kanji stating their number.

Even one Shangdi is powerful enough to defeat an army and is recommended not take them on when two or more Shangdis fight together. This evil organization squad just came out in the open all over China without warning to the point that the heroes wonder why Master Oogway did not foresee this coming. Po and his allies have to travel the land to find out about their hidden motive and how they came to be.

What do you think? Yeah, I don't actually have the skill to draw though. ^^;

Can you guess who the tiger is? Hint: He’s not an original character.

Kung Fu Panda belongs to DreamWorks Animation
This Tiger belongs to the one who created him
